I’m James Miller, a programmer and designer of games, and this site is home to my digital portfolio. Here you can find previous projects¬†that I have worked on, along with my resume.

I’m currently a senior at the University of Central Florida, and will graduate in the Spring of 2018 with a Bachelor of Art in Digital Media: Game Design. I took my first coding course in the Fall of 2013, learning the C language. From there, I learned Java during an Object-Oriented programming class. After making my first game during that semester, I knew that making games was what I wanted to do, so I declared my major, and ended up using research based development to teach myself C# in Unity and Blueprints Visual Scripting in Unreal Engine 4.

As of Spring 2018, I am in my final semester at UCF, where I am currently serving as Tech Lead and as a programmer on a team of 13 students in a Game Design Workshop. Using Unreal Engine 4, we are developing a 3rd person thieving game, Calling Card. Progress can be viewed here soon!
